The Earth began to shake as the sky rumbled. It was chaos as destruction rang out and ruined the land. The Sea shook with force, it ruined cottages and tore sand. It hit the Earth, as lightning struck. Earth fought back, building walls and making mountains to fight the forces.

When it finally calmed, it all shifted to reveal a man. Standing in the dust, a dark cloak hiding his face as wings shot up from his back, sword in hand, axe in the other. The sky around him crackled with electricity as he beheld the woman in front of him, a silver jacket with a bow in hand, Auburn hair flowing down her shoulder.. Her eyes were closed in peace, as she lay on the ground.

Two giant men walked up to the cloaked man, laughing at him, Trident and sword in hand. They threw their weapons at him, but they slowed as they reached him. He knocked them away with his sword, and inscription on the side reading Riptide. He threw the Axe and the one who held the trident fell into dust.

"Is that all you have boy!? I heard you loved her, but clearly not enough to avenge her!" He laughed. The man's head shot up, sea green eyes glowing with anger and power. He jumped, raised his axe and cut through his head. As the giant fell into gold dust, the man simply slumped, and fell to the ground, crying.

A hand was placed on his shoulder, another man with brown hair and a light beard, with green and blue armor covering his body. The cloaked man raised his head, and spoke,

"Thank you, father, but now I must bury her." The father nodded,a dn disappeared in a wind of water as the man picked up the woman. The ground opened up, in a crystal grave, and he lay her down.

She wasn't dead, but it would be a long time before he ever got the chance to see her again, from just one year to a millenia. It was unpredictable, the regeneration process. Complicated. But he would protect her, to make sure she would stay safe from those who would do her harm. A bright light shot into the sky, and he watched as dust blew in the wind and a large snake flowing through a skull appeared.

Another man came up, with robes, black hair, emerald green eyes, with a stick in his hand. Another appeared, A man with a red and gold suit of armor jumped down from the sky. He mask slid up revealing brown eyes, black hair and a goatee.

"Is it over?" He asked, wings falling back into his back. His eyes betrayed his sadness.

"No, but it is time. We have the stone. We can send ourselves back, and prevent this all from happening." The green eyed man said, holding up a green stone glowing with power.

"Then it's time, everyone touch it, We shall go back and stop them. The greatest three evils in the world. Remember your missions, and that once we go back, there is no coming home, we will be stuck in the timeline forever, no matter what. Now, let us begin." Before they touched the glowing stone, the green-eyed man turned his eyes multi-colored with brown hair, became shorter.

The suited man stepped out, and shifted to be dark-haired, with purple eyes and significantly shorter. The final, cloaked man took off his cloak revealing black hair with a strip of white. He shifted, his hair turning red, with amber-orange eyes. As soon as they touched the stone, they disappeared with a flash of green.

Watching from afar, a man stood, with brown fluffy hair, a big chin, green eyes and a slim figure, with a brown jacket and a black bowtie, outside a blue police box. He stepped inside, the inside much bigger than the outside. He activated the fail-safe, and he slowly shifted back, a glowing yellow light beaming into him. The blue box disappeared, as he changed into a tall man, stick-like figure, brown eyes, stubble and brown hair.

There they went, to change the future from the terrible thing it was. Only time will tell whether or not they are successful.

The connecting arc, the oneshot that will bring it all together, all will make sense in time, if you read. You must read my other story, One of a Kind Hero, to fully grasp the implications.
