"Ianto?" A gentle and familiar female voice woke Ianto from his sleep. He disentangled himself from Jack's arms and wandered into the living room.

Lisa was sitting on the arm of the sofa, looking around. "It's not at all like our flat in London."

Ianto stared for a moment, not sure if he could trust his eyes or not. The last time he had seen Lisa as a dream, she'd convinced him to betray the man he loved and put the world into danger. "Lisa? But you're-"

"Dead," she said, proving her knack at finishing Ianto's sentences. "Yes, I am. Which is why I'm able to visit you. Special ghosting privileges." She smiled widely and Ianto rushed forward to take her in his arms.

He passed right through her.

She laughed. Ianto had missed the sound of her laughter. "What part of ghost didn't you understand, Ianto?"

Ianto joined in with her laughing until he realized that Jack was snoring loudly in the other room. He met Lisa's eyes.

She tilted her head and listened. "That's not a woman's snoring, Ianto. You've found someone."

Unable to lie to her, he nodded. "Yes. I'm sorry."

"No you're not and if you are, you shouldn't be." Lisa threw her arms out. "I'm dead, Ianto. If you've moved on, I'm happy for you. Isn't what love is, being happy when the person you love is happy?"

Ianto forced away the memory of the cyberwoman's response to what love was and he nodded. This was no evil, Rift-induced fantasy, this was his Lisa. His beautiful, brilliant, beloved Lisa.

"And if I was alive, whoever you've got in your bed would have a hell of a fight on his hands," she giggled for a moment before sobering up again. "But I'm not. So, consider this my blessing to you and… whoever." Lisa smiled mischievously at him. "Though, at least you could have found another woman, Ianto."

"There was no other woman, Lisa." Ianto said, earnest truth lacing his statement. "There never could be."

Blushing, Lisa asked, "Does he treat you well? I can't rest easy until I know you're being taken care of, love."

"He does." Ianto shrugged. "It's odd sometimes, I was always the one taking care."

Lisa gave him a fond smile. "I know." She considered Ianto for a moment. "Does he love you? I mean, really love you?"

Ianto nodded immediately. "Yes, he does. I know it's very difficult to tell with Jack sometimes. But yes, I believe he loves me. He doesn't often say it, but actions really do speak louder than words."

"Ianto?" Jack stumbled sleepily into the room. "What'cha doing outta bed?"

Ianto cast a glance at Lisa, who mouthed, 'Can't see me.' He smiled at Jack, "Just wanted a midnight snack. Go back to bed, cariad."

As Jack complied, Ianto bit his lip and turned to face Lisa. She was the only other person he'd ever called his cariad.

"That's helpful because my next question was going to be asking you if you loved him," she smiled.

Ianto released his lip. "Would you hate me if I said yes?"

"No, I'd hate you if you lied to me and said no." Lisa looked off to the side. "I have to go now, Ianto." She reached out, only to have her hand pass right through him. Her smile was sad as she said, "I miss you, Ianto."

"I miss you too, Lisa." He fought back the tears that were threatening to fall. "I always will."

"Remember me," she instructed as her specter got fainter. "But let this Jack man love you. It's not a betrayal, just a moving on." She disappeared completely as she whispered. "I love you, Ianto."

"I love you too, Lisa," Ianto whispered to the empty room. He sat and calmed himself back down before heading back into the bedroom.

As soon as Ianto lay down, Jack turned over in his sleep and wrapped an arm around him.

"And I love you too, Jack," Ianto whispered. Whatever piece of his heart hadn't been given to Lisa, Ianto vowed then and there was now and forever Jack's.
