Book 1 – Chapter 2
Nick a friend of Roberts was a student at Graun high school. Nick was also a sophomore just like Robert. Nick was the exact opposite of Robert always slacking off, getting bad grades, and never taking any responsibility. Nick would always get up in the morning sometime not taking a shower and slowly slump to the bus with his twin brother Anthony.
Today Nick was up to daily routine. He got up and slowly caught the bus. When he walked into the entrance to Graun High school he tripped on his own feet and fell face first onto the ground.
"Wow look where you're going idiot" Michael said making fun of Nick in not a mean way but in a way boys do.
"Shut up you fat ass" Nick said trying to think of a comeback that wasn't obvious.
"I'm not fat I am just so awesome and the excess awesomeness is spilling all over my body in pockets" Michael said in a "I'm trying to be funny" voice.
"Anyway did you get our history project done" Michael said.
"um no, I thought that was due next week" Nick said in a surprised voice.
"Oh my god Nick if you would stop having dates with your hand and actually went to class I wouldn't get a F on the project, God you are a idiot.
"Shut up and lets just go"
So after 10 minutes of fighting in the entrance of the high school the 3 Boys walked down the hall to locker 530.
"Is that Robert and Marion? I think I switched my lunch with him on the ride to school lets go down and get it." Michael said.
As they walked down the hall to the chemistry room Robert was already going to the opposite hall that lead back to the entrance. They all turned around and made there way to the main hall.
"What is that behind Robert? "
"Robert look out"
"What?" Robert said surprised
Something then tried to lunge at Robert then Michael threw a book from down the hall, it hit the thing and dazed it long enough for Robert to get out of the way and start running.
"what the hell is that ?" Nick said
By this time Robert and Marion caught up to Nick, Michael, and Anthony.
"I don't know but it look deformed it face was.."
CRASH! A large bang was coming from the hall behind them, there was now a whole in the glass of the walls in the main entrance. Robert looked back and saw there was not just one of the things that attacked him but 5.
"Guys we have to get somewhere safe." Marion said
The group of five students were still running at high speeds when Anthony and Michael hit two people in front of them. It was Trevor and Ryan. Trevor and Ryan were also friends of the group. Behind them were Melonie, Dylan and Mark.
"Did you guys see those things too? We saw one of them attacking Troy and we all decided to stick together and run for it." Trevor said.
"Wait they were attacking Troy, how?" Anthony said.
" I think they were eating him"
