Nikki: How did it go?

Harry: Well I did manage to track down Rupa Joshi's blood donor John Ashton

Nikki: And?

Harry: Sadly, he is now at one with the subsoil of the Kings Motocross track

Nikki giggles loudly

Harry: So I will now never know whether or not he gave her variant CHD

Nikki: So in other words you might be free for the next three or four hours?

Harry raises an eyebrow and gives her a small smile

Harry walked slowly into the lab and saw Nikki sitting at a table and walked over to her. He stood on the opposite side of the table and she looked up.

"How did it go?"

"Well" Harry started "I did manage to track down Rupa Joshi's blood donor John Aston"

"And?" Nikki asked and brought her pen to her mouth distracting Harry for a second.

"Sadly he is now at one with the subsoil of the Kings Motocross track" Harry told her and she giggled loudly causing his stomach to do a happy flip.

"So I will now never know whether or not he gave her variant CHD"

Nikki looked down at the papers in front of her, feeling guilty for laughing at him then she looked up and smiled at him.

"So in other words you might be free for the next three or four hours?" Nikki asked him and he raised an eyebrow, giving her a small smile he leant forward over the table and leant on his arms.

"What are you suggesting Dr Alexander?"

Nikki grinned and leant forward a bit more so they were barely inches apart.

"Feel like going home?" she whispered and Harry just stared into her eyes. Then he nodded slowly and glanced over at Leo's office, Nikki did the same and then looked back at the man in front of her.

"You go first" she told him and he nodded and stood up "I need to put these papers away anyway"

"I will see you soon" Harry told her and walked out of the lab as though nothing had happened. Nikki glanced at Leo who was on the phone and a small smile glanced across her face, she got up and picked the papers up in her hands.

"I'm going for lunch" she called out to Leo who looked up and nodded, he pointed to the phone and rolled his eyes causing Nikki to giggle. She turned around and followed the route Harry had taken a few minutes earlier.

Parking her car outside Harry's house Nikki quickly got out and locked it, walking around to the front door she rung the bell and the door opened straight away. She grinned and grabbed Harry's shirt pulling him down for a kiss, she kicked the door shut and broke the kiss both of them breathless, a grin was plastered on Harry's face.

"I have been wanting to do that all day" she told him and he quickly picked Nikki up in his arms causing her to squeal and wrap her arms around his neck.

"Let me show you what I have been wanting to do all day" he whispered and kissed her again.
