A/N: I don't own CSI, or cell phones. This story is short, and (I can only hope!) sweet, so…enjoy!

The team was waiting at the conference table waiting for their boss. A bored Greg was tapping his foot, and it was all the rest of the team could do to ignore the constant, steady beat.

"Greg! Do you mind?" Catherine was the first to lose pacience.

"What?" he was clueless.

"Never mind." Said an exasperated Catherine. Finaly, Grissom walked in, carrying a box. He set it on the table and sat down.

"Ecklie decided to get everyone cell phones, all the same type. I'm not sure why, but who am I to comment on such a gracious gift." There was a long pause, and Greg was the only one to catch on the sarcasm. He laughed, but stopped abruptly when Grissom's piercing stare caught his eyes. "They're top of the line."

"Oh! The Razr! Greg exclaimed.

"No." Grissom answered flatly. He pulled out six small packages, and handed them around the table.

The guys had theirs open in seconds, like kids at Christmas time, while the Sarah and Catherine were more reserved in opening the packages.

The phone were heavy duty, black, and had large color screens on the inside and the outside.

"Sweet! MP3!" Greg noted.

"Games!" Warrick added.

"Live sports coverage!" Nick said, excited. The girls were already listening to the ring tones.

"Ok, don't let the phones distract you from the work you need to do. With that said, get back to work. Everyone went back to what they were doing.

More coming soon. Hope you enjoyed reading the prologue to my pointless story!
