Both Ash and Red are brothers in this. Ash has a crush on his aniki Red, Gary has a crush on Ash, Green also has a crush on Red but Red rejects him, and Red also has a crush and is very protective of Ash.

Ash POV'S
"Aniki, want to see a movie with me today!" I didn't really care what movie we were going to watch, I just wanted to spend more time with aniki. He's been so busy with college applications, studying, and he's working on weekends now. He never has time for me. His red eyes looked back at me from his studies.
"I'm pretty busy Ash, maybe next time."
"You said that last time!"
"Why not ask Gary to take you? He's you're friend right?" Ugh, Gary. He was my friend when we were younger but then he became such a jerk. We only get along because his brother Green is supposedly 'friends' with my aniki. He's just as annoying as Gary! I never like Green, he was another reason aniki didn't have time for me.
"You know I don't like Gary." Red wasn't even looking at me. "I hate him."
"Hate is a very strong word Ash, and why do even feel that way? Just the other day Gary asked me about you." What?
"Why?"
"He asked if you free on Saturday."
"What you tell him?"
"I told him you were busy with me on that day." I couldn't believe it, did that mean.
"Aniki you mean…"
"You have me all to yourself on Saturday." Red said, his eyes not leaving his history book. I ran up and jumped on him. Which made us both crash on the floor. Not to brag, but I'm physically more stronger that aniki, while he is more mentally strong.
"Thank you aniki!"
"Ash you're crushing me. Please get off." He said in his regular monotone voice, while his face turned blue.
