Hello everyone! Hopefully everyone has had a great day, week, month, year, life! :D Okay, so I'm a huge NCIS fan and I've had this story in mind for quite some time, but I just never gave myself the time to actually write it…until now! MUAHAHAHHH!

Chapter 1
"Abs?" Gibbs walked into the lab but stopped short.
Abby was laying on her futon, sound asleep. She was tired, heck, so was he. Working 48 hours straight with little to no sleep on a case certainly takes a toll on the body, but to his relief, the case was all wrapped up. Gibbs almost didn't want to wake her up, but he knew full well that her bed was more comfortable than the futon, so he had to.
"Abby," Gibbs shook her gently, "wake up."
Abby didn't even stir.
"Abs, come on, wake up," he tried once more, "Abby."
Nothing.
He was beginning to worry. He moved his hand to her forehead, and grew concerned at the heat radiating from her skin. She was burning up.
What did y'all think? I know it's super short, but bear with me, it's the first chapter and I promise it'll get better. At least I hope so! :) I'll try my best to update as soon as I can... in 6 or 7 months! lol jk! :D In all seriousness, I'll do my best to not leave you stranded here and update the story constantly!
