Title: Lies
Notes: Ok so this a random poem that I wrote last night, it's not based on any character so compare it to who you want to. This is a short poem about lost friendship, or at least that's what I was going for… Enjoy!
Every single word spoken in my direction false.
Subconsciously ignoring the facts,
Unbelieving of reality.
Relieved by the soothing words whispered insincerely.
Under false pretenses beginning to adjust, all to waste.
To ignorant to see through the disguise of friendship,
Inevitably in the end truths are revealed.
Fantasies shattered, shown for what they were, hopeless dreams.
After fact was parted from fiction friendships became non-existent.
Tears now dried but anticipating a return,
Wounds of the heart healed bestowing everlasting scars.
Memories intact, intent on replaying,
Never to be forgotten.
