It was a normal friday afternoon and the zoo just closed as Alice shut the gate. The animals were making their way towards the gift shop as usual. The penguins had called a meeting.

The penguins arrived, slidding into the small shop and leaped onto the carboard boxes in the corner to speak.

The crowd hushed themselfves as Kowalski walked forward. Well almost everybody hushed, King Julien was still babbling to Maurice and Mort about mangos and it took a while for them to quiet down but that was normal.

"Well everybody," Kowalski began to speak in a proud voice"I am pleased to say, I have completed my experment!"

Everybody knew what the experment was because a week earlier Kowalski wouldnt shut up about it. The experment was a machine to test DNA. Kowaski loved info, even if that info was from a DNA machine made for his fellow zoo mates. If you ask Marlene she'd say its a bit creepy. Once he finished the machine he collected samples from all the animals in the zoo to test DNA. Sadly the machine was slower then he thought it be so he only got the answers today.

"Ok who wants theirs to be read first!" Kowalski said with excitement for he himself had not read the answers yet.

King Julien sat up rasing his hand and jumping like an overgrown child. He was so excited, as King he thought to himself, he should know everything about himself.

"Me! Me! Oh pick me! Pick your king brainy penguin!" He yelled with a goofy smile.

So Kowalski turned to Private who was behind him with a stack of papers and Kowalski shuffed through them till he found Juliens. Skipper looked around till his eyes focused on Maurice who was staring at the pile of paper nevously.

Kowalski opened his mouth to speak but Maurice interuped him "Maybe I should" Maurice said as he walked up to Kowalski with that same nervous expersion.

"Uh should what?" Kowalski asked with his flipper on his chin.

"Maybe I should read out the paper" Maurice mumlbed "Cause Julien's my uh..king"

Skipper sensed something was off but shrugged it off as Maurice just lossing his words for a second.

Maurice read the paper to the zoo animals and it had basic info, such as what gender Julien was, what animal and other stuff. Maurice stopped himself at the last question and didnt read it.

"Thats it folks" Maurice said happily like a big weight had been taken off his shoulders.

"Wow I didnt know was a ringtail!" King Julien said with wonder. The others animals looked at eachother not knowing if King Julien was making a joke or just being stupid.

Skipper knew that Maurice forgot to read the question about King Juliens parents and could sense something was fishy. Kowalski's test had answers to basic DNA questions and parenets was the last question. He wanted to know why Maurice skipped over that question. Skipper, deep down also wanted the answer to that question

Skipper decided he would talk to maurice later about it and let other people read there DNA answers to eachother.

Skipper couldnt help but feel this was the beginning of something huge.
