Caroline was pissed. Her goal for the night was to get her pretty little vampire ass drunk (which due to above stated vampirism was a tall order)
The Mikaelson family was hosting a Halloween Birthday Bash for Kol, the youngest of the Mikaelson brothers. 'How appropriate,' Caroline thought to herself, 'Kol's birthday is on Halloween.'
The Scooby Doo gang was scoping the place, ensuring that this wasn't some cover for a grand "Klaus Scheme". Their track record concerning social events wasn't the greatest, and knowing their luck something was bound to happen
She has strategically positioned herself so she could observe the area without bringing attention to herself, but wouldn't make her look like a creepy weirdo.
She was wearing a simple white dress with a pair of 'angel' wings strapped into her back. Her hair was is loose curls and cascaded down to her shoulders
"You know love, it was very rude of you to not come and say hello," a voice said next to her. She turned to see the one and only Niklaus Mikaelson in all his glory.
"Seriously, are you stalking me or something?" she asked with a snort.
"Well, you're in my house so I should be asking you that," he replied with his typical smirk.
"Well…well…whatever! I need a drink." Caroline stuttered and walked of in search for some strong liquor. Klaus couldn't help but chuckle at her as she stormed off looking all flustered. It was cut, it took him a second to decide to follow.
As Caroline sipped her newly acquired drink she felt him looking at her. She chose to ignore the persistent hybrid and decided to focus on the mass amounts of hormonal teenagers bumping and grinding against one and other. In the corner of the room she caught sight of Tyler and his new girlfriend, Hayley. It had been a few months since he accused of lying and cheating, leading in their break-up. He then proceeded to run off with some chick he had a 'past' with – that doesn't sound suspicion at all. She was over it, but it still kinda stung.
"You know love, we make quite a pair."
Caroline let her curiosity get the best of her, "And WHAT is that suppose to mean?"
Instead of answering her, he grabbed her hand and dragged to some empty corridor.
"What the hell you ARSE! You just man handled me! What is wrong with you, have you ever heard of personal space?" She screamed at him, her face inches away from his.
"Well you wouldn't have been able to hear a word I said with that so-called music blasting through," he replied with a shrug.
"So you solution was to drag me against my will. Are you…"
She never got to finish her sentence because Klaus's lips came crashing down on her. It stated out slow, with him slowing circling his arms around her waist bringing her closer. She soon found herself sandwiched between his heat radiating body and the cool surface of the wall. She wrapped her hands around his neck, her fingers slowing running through his light blond curls.
It seemed like forever until they finally broke apart. "Opposites attract. That is why I consider us 'quite a pair'," he whispered against her lips. Before she could come up with an answer he was making his way back to the main party.
It was then she finally took notice of his costume. He was donned in a black pinstripe suit with a pair of red plastic horns on his head.
"Heaven and Hell. Opposites attract," she said to herself slowly. Keeping to their track record something did happen, and Caroline wasn't sure if that something was good or bad. All she knew was she NEEDED ANOTHER DRINK.
