Awe.
That word alone was presently attached inside his mind. And the cause of this certain feeling was untouchable and unavailable.
He couldn't describe what this feeling was doing to him. He didn't know whether to scream out in happiness and joy, or to silently shoo away from this foreign feeling.
This feeling he knew the name of, it was one that got the strongest of men falling to their knee's. You couldn't avoid nor run away from it. It was scary and/or hurtful if you dealt with it the wrong way.
It was was the intangible feeling of love.
It had made him feel incompetent of doing/saying simple things. It's like he was no longer in control of how he acted in front of her. It certainly felt like he was possessed by a two year old, saying things that sounded like rubbish and stumbling anywhere he went whenever she was around.
He realized they were in two different worlds.
She innocent, beautiful, social. Everything everyone wanted to be.
He tainted, grotesque, awkward. Everything everyone tried to avoid to be.
The commonly used phrase made him laugh to this day, "Opposites Attract." But this to time, it couldn't and wouldn't.
She, who saved him from going deeper into the black abyss, was truly a vision. A vision who would only last for a fraction of a second, and disappear like a wonderful dream.
She was his flower. His innocent Lily.
One that would be plucked away from his hands in due time.
