Well they are profilers Nat; they can't be here like that. She replied snapping her fingers for added effect.

Just as she said that I heard the bell above the door ring, followed by the voice of my godfather saying-If it isn't my little Natalie, long time no see; how about you come give your padrino a great big hug.

Of course I will Uncle Dave. I said hugging him.

So how is your bookstore going for you? He said picking up a copy of his newest book.

It's really well. I so glad you're having your book released here first and having a signing. I can't thank you enough.

It's nothing. Besides you did agree to meet with a colleague of mine. He smirked.

Yeah, I did. Why did I have to agree to that again? I said.

He replied. "Because you told me on the phone that most of the guys you've dated lately ended up being total jerks, and you deserve someone who's not for a change."

So basically you're setting me up. I said feeling my face starting to get red (as it occasionally does considering the fact that I'm a redhead and it's an uncontrollable second nature).

Hey, he said. I'm not asking you to marry the boy; I am just asking you to give him a chance. Unlike the jerks you're normally with, he's nice, smart, and couldn't do anymore damage other then talking your ear off.

Oh wonderful I thought, but I said-Fine I'll give him a chance.

Perfect, he said. "Here he comes now; Reid, over here."

A tall lanky fellow, who I assume is this Reid, comes walking towards us.

Uncle Dave continued. "Reid this is my goddaughter Natalie Cray, Natalie this is my colleague Spencer Reid.

It's nice to meet you, I said smiling.

This is one of the reasons Uncle Dave is my favorite family member (Even if he's not family by blood), He's awesome.

Now that I get a close look at this Spencer I see that he has warm brown eyes which are a feature I've always been a sucker for.

Nice to meet you too, he said sounding really nervous. He looked like he was going to say something else but Uncle Dave interrupted him.

Don't scare her off already with one of your facts Spencer. He said while trying to stifle a laugh.

It's alright, I say. I'm sure it was perfectly interesting.

Well, Uncle Dave said, when does the store open?

It opens at 10:00, so basically now.
