(A/N) hey you guys its me greyridinghood67 ive been in a slump lately and this just popped into my head and the idea of it made me happy so i decided to jot it down QUICKLY so enjoy...
Lock was standing b watching Shock and Barrel fighting. he chuckled at their antics. the way they fought brought back memories. bad memories. memories of when they were still under the thumb of Oogieboogie. those were the days when they would huddle close toghether just trying to stay out of his way. they didnt let people see how it really was for them and lock realized how if they had maybe told someone maybe one of them wouldnt still wake up screaming from the nightmares. ten years. ten years and they were still screaming at the memories. they weren't children anymore. they had all grown up. lock was the eldest being 17, then shock she was 16, and then baby barrel who was 15. lock was happy for once in his life. he was happy during the warm moments when they weren't fighting, when they acted like the best friends they were and to beat the crap out of each other was really the only way they knew how to show their feelings. a punch equalling a kiss, a tackle equalling a hug. to fight was the only way to say "i love you". it was a weird way, but none the less their way. it took Lock long enough to realize that. the way Shock would beat him till he bleed then help to heal him back up again was Shock constantly saying i love you so the one day she beat him till he bled, he hit her back.
