Surprise!
"I'm telling you, the look on Cassandra's face when I told her-", Rachel stopped mid-sentence, there was a knock at the door.
Without saying anything Kurt got out of his seat to get the door. He had no idea who it could have been, Santana and Rachel were both home, Adam was practicing for his miniscule part on Broadway, opening next week, and Brody was off on a vacation with his friends. Thank god, Kurt needed a break from his bare ass parading around the apartment. He slid the door open, and almost died right there on the spot. Standing in front of him, looking as sweet an innocent as ever, was Blaine Anderson. Kurt's jaw dropped, not at all expecting the surprise visit. Rachel wandered in curious to see who it was.
"BLAINE!" Rachel squealed running over to hug him, "I haven't seen you in ages! How's McKinley? How's Mr. Shue? How are all the new kids in glee clu-"
"It's good to see you too Rachel." Said Blaine with a dazzling smile.
Blaine turned to look at Kurt, who still looked absolutely dumbstruck. His smile faded as he saw the look on his face change to a look of sadness. Blaine knew he was playing a risky game coming all the way to New York, Kurt and he had broken up, and they were on silent terms. Even though everyone else had, Blaine still hadn't even forgiven himself for what he did to Kurt, and how was he to expect Kurt had? All he was sure of was that he had to see him. It was killing him, and even if he had to tie him down to a chair in order for him to listen, he needed Kurt to hear what he had to say.
Once Kurt had regained his ability to speak, and managed to say something.
"Blaine, I uh… wasn't expecting your visit." he said with and uneasy tone.
"Oh this is adorable, Kurt he came all this way just to talk to you!" Rachel said as she looked between the two of them.
"Rachel, kitchen." Kurt said in a rushed whisper.
"Uhh, just, make yourself at home Blaine, I'll bring a snack out in a sec, I bet your starving from the plane ride, I'm sure it was horrible, I've always hated riding on planes-" Rachel continued on before Kurt groaned and yanked her into the kitchen.
As they walked to the other side of the apartment, Kurt was rubbing his temples, obviously frustrated.
"Oh my god I am freaking out. Good lord, what am I going to do? He has the nerve! Ugh but I do miss him… no. uggghhhh oh my god." Kurt was babbling on.
"Hey, Shhhh. Don't worry Kurt, calm down. Kurt, I cannot believe him, he is literally the sweetest thing ever. I think you should forgive him. He really does love you. I see the way he looks at you. Finn never even looked at me like that." She said.
Kurt's expression softened ever so softly, but he was still a whirlwind of emotions.
Rachel continued, "Kurt, what he did was horrible, but admit it. You did neglect him a little…"
Kurt had a hurt look on his face.
"…hey, I saw you decline half his calls, and Kurt let's be honest. All you did was brag about New York." She finished with a look that read 'you know it's true.'
He looked guilty.
"C'mon, at least talk to him. You guys were practically made for each other. Everybody makes mistakes. He's genuinely sorry. Don't let his mistake define him. Give him a second chance." She pleaded.
Kurt looked up.
He sighed. "Okay, I'll talk to him."
So what did you guys think? Was it totally awesome? Leave me your suggestions and any comments in a review! (be nice to me, no haterrrs)
