When she was born, they gave her life; turning her dark hair to white, and her spirit pure.
When she was little, her chubby hands and clumsy fingers would try to catch those fish, but to no avail. They would swim in circles; push and pull, yin and yang, continuing their pattern of life as the little Princess watched and splashed and laughed.
As Princess Yue grew older, she came to watch them when she wanted to be alone; when she wanted peace of mind and soul. Their constant motion was a strong source of comfort. When she was absolutely sure that no one was watching, she talked to them - and would have swore on anything that she heard them speak back.
It was here that she had always felt safe. It was here that she had always felt alive.
It was here she had brought them when all had seemed hopeless and lost. It was here that the moon had fallen from the sky and the world had lost all color. It was here she gave back the life she was given so long ago.
Now she swims in constant circles, looking down on the world she knew and loved. No more do chubby hands and clumsy fingers dive into the water. No more does she come to watch, or to talk.
Though here, she will always be safe; always be alive.
Yue will always be the moon.

A/N: Yue was needing some love, okay? And seeing as she rules the sky with kindness and lunar goodness, I am giving her some love. I really adored her, honestly. Thoughts? :) xx
