Narrator:
Long before Po and the five and long before Jade Palace there was only war.
The war was taking young men to battle.
They were trained to better, faster and smarter. Some of them were consumed by darkness and violence.
It was a dark world but two brothers stood upon that darkness. One of them was called Oogway and another one was called Hao.
Oogway was adopted turtle and Hao was a snow leopard. Hao's mom adopted Oogway and she raised him as her own kid too. Together they were unstoppable. Armies fell before them and many were killed by their hand. They weren't killing for joy, they killed to save their loved ones, the ones ther cared about. Hao was an older brother, he was really smart and brave, pretty wise for his age and Oogway... well he was destined for the great things but Hao he was a totally different story.
He was getting consumed by violence, he started to like it and crave for more. He was killing and killing until one day Oogway found out. Oogway tried to get Hao back a clear head but... he failed. Hao tried to kill him too. Oogway had no more choice then to put a stop to his brothers killing spree by cursing him to be locked deep down in the mountain for 500 years.
Hao said that he will be back when the curse expires and that he will be stronger than ever before. After the war was over Oogway built a Jade Palace on his brothers shoulders, on that same mountain the Jade Palace achieved it's first bright days. Oogway started a legacy of Masters in a Martial art he called Kung fu. One day Oogway found a burning house and when he went in to see if there are survivors, he didn't find any but he heard a baby cry.
He followed the cry sound and finally he saw a little red panda baby. He gave him a name and raised him as his own child. His name is Shifu. Shifu was a respectfoul son and a good student. Soon after Shifu dedicated himself completely to Kung fu and it went to far. He would not leave the meditation state for 2 months at the time and Oogway got concerned for a young master so he advised him to find a student of his own. Shifu went on a long journey to find his own trainee. 6 months later his attention was cought by an orphanage and little kids playing in the garden.
He approached the kids to examine them. " No...I don't see a warrior material in them." But right then he heard a roar sound coming from the rooms of the orphanage. He was looking for a source od the roar and soon after he came upon a tiny dark room and a little tiger kid in tears. That day he saw something in that kid, he didn't knkw what but he folllwed his instincts. He took the kid under his wing to teach her everything he knew. Years past and the furious five allready formed and soon after a panda Po became a Dragon Warrior.
A great Oogways prophecy.
Oogway had a good life but he knew his brother anger will be hardly stopped without him but he had to go. It was his time. Shifu was kinda sad because of his masters death but he followed a path that Oogway set for him.
