AN: I don't Own Glee
I decided to try a one shot, just inspired by my love for Glee and because of the holiday.
Christmas in Lima: A Finchel One-Shot
The pure white snow was falling at a steady pace on the streets of Lima. The wind was gently blowing, sending a chill to the people walking outside, but the wind was not strong enough to freeze people. Rachel and Finn were walking hand in hand down the streets of Lima, Ohio.
"So what kind of tree should we get for glee club?" Rachel asked, looking up at her tall, handsome boyfriend. "I think a Douglas-Fir would be best." Finn replied. They soon entered the lot and started looking for the perfect tree.
Eventually they found it, paid for it, then asked to have it delivered to the school, where Mr. Schue was waiting for it. They left the lot and were once again walking down the streets.
"I'm freezing." Rachel stated. Finn put his arm around her, trying to warm her up. "C'mon, I'll take you to the Lima Bean and get you a hot chocolate" Finn replied, opening the door to the Lima Bean for Rachel. They sat into a cozy, corner booth seat where they were isolated, just the two of them.
Finn went and got two hot chocolates, mine with extra whip cream, just how I like it. He handed me my drink with a kiss to my cheek. "Tonight was really fun. I'm so excited for the holiday." Finn replied with a smile. "I had fun too" Rachel replied.
The two sat in their booth for a long time, completely lost in their own world. They only had eyes for each other. Finn then scooped some whipped cream and put it on Rachel's nose and she giggled, then returned the favor. Finn gently kissed it off of her nose, and she the same. They sat as close together as possible, just soaking up each other's warmth and love for each other.
Finn could have stayed like that forever, staring in to Rachel's chocolate brown eyes, and hand intertwined with hers. She was his light, he knew that for sure, And Finn was Rachel's light.
Rachel didn't know how she had gotten so lucky. To be with Finn, the handsome, sweet, kind, and goofy boy. His sweet brown eyes, perfect hair, and crooked, goofy smile, she could stare at him forever.
As the snow fell more, and the two continued cuddling in their booth, they both reflected on their lives. The knew that they loved each other and would give the world to the other.
That was the true meaning of their Christmas in Lima, being together in their perfect and strong love.
