Goodbyes have been said, the flowers have been laid. Hiroshi Sato is finally together with his beloved wife, redeemed and forgiven from all his deeds against the benders of Republic City. His living legacy is now his daughter, Asami Sato. A great inventor just like her old man. Both were heroes against the invasion of the Earth Empire. High officials, business partners, and everyone else who witnessed the battle joined the funeral. All wished a good farewell and a good afterlife in the Spirit World. And they wished the heiress for a prosperous life in the industry.

Asami did her best to smile at those who had conversed with her. She never thought the death of her father would be too soon. Although the suspect of Hiroshi's death is in custody, she wasn't sure how to feel right now. The past few months, no, the past years were pretty overwhelming. The heiress took over the industry during his imprisonment and have done many things for Republic City, improving its roads and the train system.

Everyone was done exchanging their words with the heiress. She sighed as soon as everyone else was gone. A tear trailed down her cheek, only showing her sadness now that everyone left.

"Hey."

She heard the voice that she wanted to hear.

"Korra?" Asami took the chance to be in her open arms.

"It's going to be okay. Just let it go." Korra knew how she felt. She almost lost her father twice in different battles. This is the least she could do for now, after everything she went through with her. Her life changed ever since she met the Avatar and fought together by their side.

She continued to sob, mourning over the death of her father and releasing the stress that she went through and the stress she'll be going through soon.

Korra hasn't expressed enough of her thanks. Asami took care of her during her depression, even to the point of sending her letters, the only one she replied to. She took her hand and squeezed it gently. "I know it's going to be hard to move on from this. I want you to know that I'm here for you. If you want to talk or anything." She looked into her eyes. "Varrick and Zhu Li's wedding is coming up. That should at least brighten your mood for a bit."

"Right." She wiped her damp cheek.

"Let's get you back to your office." Korra smiled at her and pulled her up. She held Asami's hand as they went out of the establishment.

"I'll need some help fixing myself up again. You up for it?"

"Sure. But can I just get some rest for now?" Korra nodded. "I promise I'll buy the both of us two new dresses."
