The world gave him hatred and destruction; he thought it polite to return it back.
He grew up lonely and alone, unwanted and hated. The people around him feared him. He relished their fear.
Tom Marvolo Riddle had always known he was special, that he would do great things. And great things he did; terrible, terrible things. His great feats of magic were unparalleled and his intelligence was no match for the other fools who call themselves wizards. He was Lord Voldemort and he once held the British Wizarding World in the palm of his hands.
When he was younger children used to taunt him; that his mother died because he was unwanted. They laughed at him because he was unloved. Fierce hatred used to burn in his chest and he sought for revenge. 'Who's laughing now?' he used to think, as a cruel smirk flitted on his pale face while he watches them scream. They were all filth, the lot of them. Undeserving of his attention, that was what they were.
He wanted to kill them all.
The world taught him how power is important; he thought it polite to show the world how it shaped him.
"There is no good and evil, there is only power...and those too weak to seek it." He once uttered this statement to young Harry Potter from the back of Quirinus Quirrell's head. He used to be the most powerful being in all of Britain. He even eluded death once!
He was Lord Voldemort, the Heir of Slytherin. Lord Voldemort was always on top. He held all the power.
He used it all to destroy the world that created him.
The world created him; the world thought it polite to destroy him.
Everything went black as his lifeless body landed with a thud on the ground. But he saw light again as he woke up in a rather white place. He had lost all knowledge and thought and only knew pain.
The creature that was once the great Dark Lord is now a small abomination. He held no power and knew not his name.
This insanity and pain is his punishment for trying to destroy the world that destroyed him. He grew up unloved, he died unloved, and his mangled soul that resides in limbo shall forever remain unloved.
AN: I know, I know, it's poorly written. I had this sudden rush of inspiration and it actually started well. But, well, it just disappeared.
