Of Sapphire Blue
Her sapphire blue eyes
Spark with a rarely seen fire
Life, Hope, Compaction, Understanding,
Reside in these eyes of ocean blue
Her own pain aside
Fulfilling the needs of others
While holding off her own
Her eyes upon me now
And There, I see it in her eyes
Anger, pain
Taking over her seas of blue, gold
They look at me with hate, Sorrow
On what we could have been
And wishing away what had been
Pain filled blue eyes
Oh how they hurt me so to watch
To feel the tug in me
Wishing myself on what could have been
And cursing myself on what was
My eyes were so blind to the truth
That I missed my chance
To have a better life
To finally get what I had wished for
So blind my eyes
Next to her color filled ones
Of Sapphire blue
