Hi!This is a oneshot I made during a writing fever. It is set in Lily and James's 7th year, when they are "mates." But James doesn't stop annoying Lily. Last part is very fluffy. Enjoy!

Disclaimer-I don't own Harry Potter or any of the characters. *Sigh*

Snow

"POTTER!"

"Come on, Evans! Lighten up! You know, you should stop being such a – OI! That bloody hurt!"

"Potter, if you want to throw snowballs, throw them at Sirius, not me!"

"Jeez, Evans. You can call Padfoot by his first name, but not me?" James pouted, his lower lip sticking out.

"That's because he isn't a stalker-or a prick. Scratch that, he is a prick." Lily huffed angrily, glaring at James.

"HEY! I am not a stalker!"

"ARE!"

"AM NOT!"

"ARE TOO!"

"AM NOT!"

"There's no winning a fight with you, Potter. You're the most thick-headed buffoon I know!"

"A handsome buffoon, I hope?" James asked, running a hand though his messy hair.

"You're hopeless, Potter! Lily turned on her heel and started to walk away.

THUMP!

Lily whirled around to see James smirking, his woolen glove soaked. Her face turned strawberry red. To James's surprise, she had a small smile on her face. He was elated, or at least until he saw her emerald green eyes glitter evilly at him. James started to back away slowly, quailing under her expression.

"Whaaa-!" He couldn't complete his sentence as his mouth was now filled with snow.

"Mmph! Evans, I thought you loved me!" James said dramatically, putting a hand on his chest.

Lily only waved, a broad smile on her lips.

"Oh, you're on!" James clumped a bunch of snow in his already soaked glove and threw it at Lily.

This began Hogwart's first annual Head Boy/Head Girl Snowball Fight Extravaganza. Though they later claim that they were "careful", it was needless to say that many people ended up with snow in their soups and in their faces.

5 hours later, Head Dormitory

"That was amazing!" Lily chortled, holding her hot chocolate mug close for warmth.

"See, I knew you thought I was amazing!" James laughed playfully, waggling his eyebrows.

"Shut it, Potter," Lily said sternly, trying and failing to stop a grin from tugging at her lips. "Anyway, I would like to thank you for giving me the best winter day ever before you ruin it with some idiot comment."

Lily leaned in, brushing a lock of hair from her face. Gently, she kissed James on the cheek. When she leaned back, she was pleased to see that she was pleased to say James was opening and closing his mouth wordlessly, like a goldfish. Lily put her head on his shoulder. James didn't say anything, but Lily could feel a grin stretching across his face. They sat like that for a long time, and soon they were sleeping peacefully, cuddled beside each other.

8:30 a.m., Head Dormitory

"Oi, Prongs! Where were you last night? We had an amazing time sneaking-…" Sirius trailed away, staring at the two Heads curled up next to each other.

He wasted no time in telling everyone within earshot of it, much to James and Lily's mortification.

Of course, that evening Sirius got drenched in ice cold snow. Lily and James high-fived each other, not realizing they didn't let go.
