Yugi Lost...
Summary: There is one game that Yugi lost. Death Fic. Mini Fic.
AN-I just had to get this on FF. It isn't really that good, but, well, I'll revise it when I can. Please review with con-crit! I would appreciate that.
The blond boy takes deep shuddering breaths. This could not be happening. His friend, his best friend could not be gone. He stroked his friend's porcelain cheek one last time. His sister hugged him softly. But Jonouchi Katsuya knew that was the case. He looked around. Ryou Bakura, tearstained, had his arm around Anzu Mazaki as she sobbed softly. Honda Hiroto had a shocked look on his face, as though he still couldn't believe it. Ryuuji Otogi had a reassuring hand on Sugoruku Motoh's shoulder. Though they did not know each other very well, and normally didn't even like each other, they were united by their grief and tears. Seto Kaiba had his eyes shut tightly. Mokuba, his little brother, had his face buried in his brother's side.
At the burial, there were so, so many people. He had been loved. That wonderful, innocent little boy had been loved, and everyone was glad for that.
Yugi Motoh had been seventeen. He had been only seventeen, still naive, but not as much as when he was fifteen. He had been happy. He had been ready to go to a University. He had been a star. He had had everything going for him. Then...he had been shot...it was a hit-and-run, too. He deserved something more, something more romantic. Something better.
Jonouchi had been there when Yugi had gone. Anzu had been there. The whole gang had been there. Sugoruku, too, of course.
There, no matter what they had done, what they had said, Yugi hadn't woken up. Not once.
At least, Jou reasoned with himself, Yugi was with who he loved now. With Yami. With his mom and dad. With everyone he loved who had passed, just like him. And Yugi Motoh was going to Heaven.
Yugi had been hailed as a King of Games. He never lost a game. Never. But, then came along one last game.
The game...of Life.
And Yugi lost.
He never played another game again, not in the human world.
