Everywhere I look, all I can see are news headlines with me in them.

"Hey, did you hear that the Angel Disciple has been missing now for over two weeks?" I overhear a peppy redhead teen ask a more serious looking Elite Disciple.

"Yes, I've heard, Chlotz." Is the answer.

If that is Chlotz… Than that means the other person is… Oh, no! That must be the God's Gift! If he sees me, I'll have to go back to the Academy for sure!... Calm down, Silvera… I just need to get outta here before he can spot me. If all goes well, I will be in the clear soon enough.

I begin to shove my notebooks and other stuff into my backpack without bothering to zip it. As I make my way to the café's exit, I weave past many people and keep my head down. All my fears become reality when I run into someone and fall backwards. Everything in my bag spills out.

"Are you okay?" A very familiar voice asks me.

Don't make a scene… I may still be able to get away without any more problems.

My hope is crushed when I meet the gaze of another Disciple.

No, no… Please, anyone but Torri… Good grief…

To Torri's right are the rest of the S-Rank females.

"Ms. Chloe, isn't this the Angel Disciple?" A pink haired girl that I think I've met asks the 2nd-year teacher.

I'm frozen in place as Ms. Chloe looks at me.

"Yes, you're right, Fuuko." She answers before turning back to me. "Silvera, are you okay? Everyone at the Academy has been worried about you."

Instead of responding, I bend down and hurriedly put my papers back into my bag.

"Silvera, was it?" A new voice asks as I see one of the girls kneeling next to me.

I ignore the question and avoid looking at her.

"Silvera, we're not going to hurt you, I promise." She tries again. "Here, I'll help you gather your things and then we can head back to the Academy."

"N-n-no!" I shout as I zip my bag and snatch the stuff that the girl picked up from her. "No, no, n-no!"
