For the past four days, Near has been watching Mello from afar. Waiting for the right moment to pounce. Near thought that by performing this outrageous action, he could bring a smile to Mello's glum face.
On Tuesday morning at 9:00am, Mello was sitting on the edge of the fountain outside of Whammy's, breaking pieces off his chocolate bar.
Near watched from the bushes, until he was ready. Mello stood up and started walking towards the building, totally oblivious of his surroundings. Near ran towards him and jumped on Mello's back wrapping his legs tight around his waist!
"PIGGY BACK! NEAR WANT BIGGY BACK!" he screamed.
The blonde dropped his half eaten chocolate bar to the frozen earth.
"Near! What the hell are you doing?! Get off!"
"RUN MELLO. RUN!" Near shrieked.
Mello sighed and started prancing around the courtyard. He circled the fountain while Near was laughing hysterically.
Then Near got an idea. He bent his snowy white head to the level of Mello's ear, and whispered, "Kitigisfagitagag…."
Mello stopped. Near giggled.
"What? What did you say?"
Near started shouting, "KITIGISFAGITAGAG! KITIGISFAGITAGAG! RAWWRR!"
He was drawing attention from the passerby's.
"Near stop, your drawing way to much attention to us." Mello urged.
Near screamed once again, wiggling his arms and legs.
"KITISFAGITA- oof!"
Mello dropped Near to the ground, walked over to pick up his chocolate, and headed towards the big building. Matt was leaning against the rock staircase laughing, crying in the process.
"Shut up…" Mello muttered.
Near sat in the grass chuckling.
