ANSWER THE PHONE

It was the ringing of an old-fashioned telephone that roused him from sleep. Eyes at half-mast, Dean rose, padding barefoot around and around searching for the mysterious ringing phone.
Brrring-brrring-brrrring.
"Where's that phone?" he muttered.
Brrring-brrring-brrrring.
The incessant ring was beginning to drive him mad. He picked up the pace of his searching.
"Sam! Where's that damn phone?"
Brrring-brrring-brrrring.
"SAM!"
Brrring-brrring-brrrring.
"Dean, what? What are you bellowing about?"
"Where's the phone?"
"Your cell phone's on the desk by the bed."
"Not THAT phone! The other phone!"
Brrring-brrring-brrrring.
"What other phone?"
"The one that's ringing!"
"Dean, there is no ringing phone."
