Saved By An Angel
In an alley of LA a woman was being chased by a vampire. Then out of the darkness a man comes out of the shadows. The man takes out a wooden stake from his long, black coat and pierces it through the vampire's heart. The vampire vanished into ashes. The woman walked closer to the man.
Woman: Who are you?
Man: The name's Angel.
He backed away from her and disappeared into the darkness.
Meanwhile at the office Doyle and Cordelia are talking about a new case as Angel walks through the door. Cordelia got up to go look up a new demon.
Angel: I think that girl liked me.
Doyle: We don't have time to talk about that right now Angel.
Cordelia: Ewwww.
Doyle: What?
Cordelia: Look at him he's ugly and gross.
Doyle: Who? The demon?
Cordelia: No! Angel!
Doyle: Oh.
Angel: What's his name Cordelia?
Cordelia: The demon's name is Morphius.
Doyle: I've heard of him but don't touch him he's poisonous. He only comes out at night to feed on his victims.
Angel: That won't be a problem. Where can I find him?
Morphius walked closer to his victim until a dark figure came out from the shadows. Morphius turned around at the dark man and stared at him. Moments later Angel dropped in and looked at the dark man.
Angel: Who are you?
Morphius ran toward the dark man. The dark man pulled out a axe but before the dark man could do anything Angel pulled out his favorite sword and swung it at Morphius head. His head rolled onto the floor while the rest of his body fell limp onto the floor.
Angel: That was easy.
He turned to the dark man.
Angel: Who are you?
Dark man: Charles Gunn. But everyone calls me Gunn.
Angel: What happened back there?
Gunn: What do you mean? You killed him before I could.
Angel: No, what was up with you and the demon. It seemed like he knew you.
Gunn: I killed his crew.
Meanwhile at the office Doyle and Cordelia are talking about getting a better place to work at. The door flies open and Angel walks through the door with Gunn following him. Doyle jumped.
Doyle: Geez Angel. Are you trying to give me a heart attack?
Cordelia looked at Gunn.
Cordelia: Who's that?
Angel: His name is Gunn.
Gunn: Hey.
Cordelia: So what do you do?
Gunn: I have a gang that hunts down vampires.
Angel: Do we have a new case?
Cordelia: Yeah, there are a few vamps that were spotted around a bar.
Angel: Ok, I'll get right on it.
Gunn: Do you mind if I join you?
Angel: Sure, why not?
They both left the office.
Cordelia: Do you trust him?
Doyle: You just met him and now you're already disliking him?
Cordelia: Yeah, don't I have the right to? Look at his clothes.
Two women walked out of a bar laughing out loud. They didn't notice the two vampires stalking them in the darkness. All of a sudden Angel and Gunn rushed up behind the vampires and staked them. They fell to the ground in dust. Angel and Gunn disappeared into the darkness as the two women looked behind them. They saw two clumps of dust on the ground.
Woman: How'd that get there?
