Disclaimer: I do not own Spider-Man or any of its characters.

It was an ordinary day for Peter Parker: he got up, brushed his teeth, saved 10 people and travelled to school.

Being Spider-Man was no easy task, since he was constantly risking his life for strangers that would unlikely do the same.

But there was the light of his life, Mary Jane Watson. She was the most beautiful girl he had ever seen. The only downside was she didn't EVER talk to him.

I don't get why the guy was so obsessed with her, but Peter had a super mega foxy awesome crush on her and his best friend Harry was certainly not oblivious to that.

"Come on Pete, you have to at least talk to her." Harry moaned as the two boys strolled down the school corridors.

Peter sighed, while shrugging his bag off his shoulder "You know I can't talk to girls, Harry," he muttered, swapping books from his locker into his rucksack, "what would I say to her anyway?"

Harry started talking in a squeaky voice, "Hey MJ wanna come round to my house and we can-"

Peter cut him off, "Stop right there, no one would ever say that. Also what the hell? I am not that high pitched."

Harry burst out laughing and Peter did too, soon Harry was on the floor and Peter was almost crying.

Come on, it wasn't that funny.

Once the two had recovered from their mess of tears and laughter, they wandered to their class.

A sharp bell signaled the end of the school day and students flowed out, desparate to leave and go home.

Peter was one of the first ones out, every day he had to avoid Harry asking him if he wanted to hang out. As much as he wanted to, saving New York was much more important.

He attempted to speed walk out of the school gates and into an alley nearby, where he quickly changed into his Spider-Man costume.

Swinging out over the city never got old, the view was astounding. Why queue for the Empire State Building? why go all the way to the Empire State Building? Peter had it all, literally in the palm of his had, well wrist.

The webslinger swung through the sky scrapers looking for any trouble below.

Since he had started being New York's friendly neighbourhood Spider-Man, the amount of criminals was decreasing. It had only been a few months too.

So far, no super villains and Peter was only too glad. He didn't want to fight someone that was just as strong as him.

The rest of the day passed quickly, he beat up mulitiple bad guys, saved some fan girls and had dinner.

The only thing missing was Uncle Ben. He had been killed by a car jacker and Peter couldn't help but think that he was to blame.

The TV sat on in the background while Peter and his Aunt May were eating dinner.

"A strange figure has appeared, it seems to be flying on some kind of hover board. Oh my God!" The news then cut off. The screen was just black and white dots.

Peter murmured something about going to his room. He ran upstairs and put on his suit as fast as he could.

By the time he reached the area, most people had been cleared.

"Hey!" He yelled at the green figure.

They spun round to face him, with glowing yellow eyes and pointed ears.

"Hello, Spider-Man," the figure spat, "finally you've decided to join the party."

"It seems pretty lame," Peter called back.

The green creature grinned as they dove towards Spider-Man.

Authors note: I hope you liked the first chapter. Is it obvious who the villain is? I hope so but I'll say in the next chapter anyway. Thanks for reading. I plan on making the chapters a bit longer too.
