Ok, so this is my first fic. So it's probably not that great…

Anyway this is basically the secret ending of Re:coded and some more stuff from Birth by Sleep, just to set up for the REAL story.

Prologue-Signs of What's Next
The sun was setting over the misshapen tower. The wind whispered through the soft trees. Through the tallest window, a stern old man was visible. The man who had once been the greatest sorcerer of all time. The mighty Yen Sid was waiting. It was almost 5:17 and his apprentice, the young King Mickey had yet to arrive. He had urgent news, regarding the horrid Xehanort and his possible regeneration. All of a sudden, out outside the window came a FLASH of shimmering sound and brilliant light. The radiance flew through the window and ejected, clumsily, a short, awkwardly clothed Mouse, the King, Mickey Mouse.
"Always with the dramatic entrances, eh, my young apprentice?"
"Master," said the disproportionately sized rodent. "I came as fast as I could! I have important news for you!"
"Oh, and what might that be?"
"Master Yen Sid, we've finally found the location of Ven's heart!"
"Hmm, so that leaves but Terra. Now, we must think about what Xehanort plans to do next."
"But Master Yen Sid!" Mickey exclaimed, "We've already stopped Ansem, the leader of the Heartless, and we stopped Xemnas, Xehanort's Nobody! He's completely gone!"
"You are only half right, I'm afraid, my apprentice," replied Yen Sid with great calm. "That shall undoubtedly bring about the return of Xehanort. It's time."
"You must summon Sora and Riku. Thuogh they have proven themselves many times over, they must come for their Mark of Mastery exam.
Five minutes later, Mickey left the tower the, the mysterious message still ringing in his large, circular ears.
FLASH! A brilliant light engulfed the room with magnificent shades of ever-changing colours. With a shout, Sora fell out of bed, onto the hardwood floor of his room. Moaning in pain, he stood up shakily.
"What was that? I've got to go see if everyone's OK!"
He ran out, Keyblade in hand, ready for anything, except for what he saw.
"King Mickey! YOU'RE here?"
"Sora! It's great to see you! There's so much I need to explain. To you and to Riku."
"What? Is something wrong? Does it have to do with your letter?"
"Calm down Sora. You'll find out soon enough, we just need to get Riku. And Kairi too."
"So this Mark of Mastery, where is it?" asked Kairi uncertainly.
"Well, it's a different test every time, but I need to take Sora and Riku to Yen Sid's tower. He'll know more. Sora, Riku are you ready? I'm sorry Kairi, but it looks like this is the only way. "
"I…I need to think about it. Please, for Kairi, give us a week," said Sora.
"Of course, I'll tell Yen Sid that he'll see you and Riku real , forgive me."
"Just promise you'll watch over them, beseeched Kairi.
"I promise," he agreed. And then, after a burst of light, Mickey whizzed into the night sky and was gone.
