Chance Meeting
A man is sitting in an underground train station. He has slightly curly chocolate brown hair, sun kissed skin and emerald eyes. He is wearing a white long sleeve shirt dark blue jeans and brown sneakers. His fingers are up the sleeve of his shirt stroking the three scars on his wrist as he stares at the rails waiting for the train.
He starts when he hears someone running down the steps and turns to them. It is another man with messy dirty blond hair, cream skin, and forest eyes with large eye brows. He is wearing a white shirt with and black unbuttoned suit jacket on top and a black tie with black pants and shoes. As well as a suitcase in his hand.
He looks around for a second before walking over to the bench the man is sitting on and sits next to him.
"Wow, I didn't expect it to be this quiet" he says placing the suitcase down next to him
The brunette blinks but doesn't say anything. There is a brief silence before the blond turns to him.
"You know, you don't look good frowning like that" he says
The brunette feels his cheeks grow warm but he still doesn't say anything.
"I can see you as the type of person who smiles all the time and loves to make everyone around him smile too"
What's with this guy why is he saying stuff like this? He brushes his finger against the scar to remind himself why he is here.
"There are a lot of foreigners around here, though there are a few that aren't that pleasant, not long ago I met an Italian who was nothing but rude and swore a lot but I could tell he was hiding something"
The brunette eyes widen. Can he tell when he is going to do? Does he know? He can feel his heart beat faster.
"Everyone is hiding something, sometimes they're small things but others are more serious"
The brunette can feel panic bubbling within him. He looks down when he feels a warmth on his hand to see a cream hand gently resting on his own. He looks at the blond but he isn't looking at him.
"It's not all bad, eventually things will get better, you just have to be willing to wait and it will be worth it when it does"
The brunette opens his mouth but closes it when the ground start shaking. He turns just as a train comes through the tunnel. The blond stands and goes to move but feels a tug on his hand. He looks down at the brunette who has a pleading look in his eyes. The blond smiles and reaches into his breast pocket. He pulls out a white card and hands it to the brunette who hesitantly takes it. He looks at it, it only has a name, number and a logo he doesn't recognize. The blond squeezes his hand, gaining his attention.
"It was nice talking to you, I hope we can see each other again and call me if you ever want to talk"
The blond leans down and gives him a quick kiss on the forehead before slipping his hand out of his grip, taking his suitcase and running to the train just as the whistle goes off. He takes a seat by the window and waves as the train leaves the station. The brunette's hand, which is on his forehead comes down and he looks at the card.
"Arthur" he mumbles a smile coming to his face
He stands and walks up the stairs and out of the station. He stares down at the card and holds it close to his body.
'Arthur'
