Lie, Black Light Burns

Light had always lied.

To his parents about what he wanted to do ("I have never wanted anything else than be the best student and follow my fathers footsteps.");

To his peers ("Oh, thank you, you were a great help.");

To his teachers ("Yes, of course I would do extra credit, after all, it is for my favorite subject.")

Finding Death Note just added some more people to lie. But now the lies were more serious, their themes varied from love to death. And if he were to get caught he would be killed. Still, it all only added to thrill.

And of course, now there was one person who could see trough his lies. He knew that L knew the truth. But, since it was L who knew, not anyone else, he was still safe. After all, the great detective L could not act without proof.
