Summary: Preview of a future story called "One…or the Other"
Notes: I've read so many stories with Yami and Téana being together when Téa's right there so I got this idea for the story. Remember, it's just a chapter.

((Heartbreak))
"I'm going to ask Téa to marry me!" Yami exclaimed, showing Yugi the wedding ring.
Yugi felt the same joy as Téa, who was secretly watching from the street's corner.
'He's going to ask me to marry him,' the girl rejoiced within her mind while hot color crossed her face.
"Are you serious?! You and Téa are finally going to be together!"
Yami nodded excitedly. "Yes, Téana and I are finally going to be together!"
That's when the world seemed stopped and the young girl's heart dropped. 'What?'
"Yami, did you just say Téana?" Yugi asked; eyes wide.
The former pharaoh stuttered. "I mean-what…well…you see…um…"
But the teen just stared at him. "You still love her, don't you?"
The brunette held her fist against her heart. 'Please say no, please say no.'
Yami sighed, while turning his head the other way. "I can't say Yugi, I mean, I do-"
She gasped in her mind.
"It's just when I see Téa…well…she reminds me of Téana, that…it gets confusing."
Another sharp arrow went through her heart, this time, it wasn't cupids. It was heartbreak's.
"But when you look at her, who do you see?"
The King of games stared up into the grayish sky as the birds flew above him. "I…don't know."
That was the last thing she heard for she had chosen to escape from the nightmare. She was now sobbing while the sky cried with her, only it sobered harder. A crack of thunder was heard but she hardly noticed; she was still lost in her mind. 'So…he only sees me as Téana? Not Téa Gardner? Just the girl he loved in the past?'
Lightening shot at the sky this time, a quick flash of her painful face showing. But after another one, her face seemed determine. 'I know what I have to do'
