Each do hail from different lands,
Each takes fate into his hands.
They know the danger,
They know the risks,
They know of Sauron's bag of tricks.
Of Saruman, the Orks, the fire,
All suspended from a wire.
Frodo Baggins, short and brave,
Set out to see the Shire saved.
Samwise, ah that loyal friend,
Stays with Frodo to the end.
Pippin, lighthearted fool,
Will never become Sauron's tool.
Merry, who is kind and steady,
Will always hold his sword at ready.
Aragorn, of the Dunedain Rangers,
Shall go to war, and face all dangers.
Boromir, a son of kings,
Will be overthrown before the ring.
Legolas, an elven prince,
Can fire arrows, not seen since,
Gimli, of the stony hall,
Has the courage to face them all.
Gandalf, who is old and wise,
Shall be trapped in fiery vise.
The fellowship, these nine have made,
Survive, or else, all hope shall fade.
