Prim
This isn't happening. It can't be happening.
Before I knew it, I was taking care of a patient when and I thought for sure she was dead. For sure. I touched her body and she jerked awake, about to talk. "No, don't talk. It's okay. Your okay. Now, I would like you to put your name on this paper please."
I'm in District 13, and I have to do this every day. I can't believe that I'm only 13, and I work in a hospital.
I hand her the paper and see her words glide across it. She hands it to me, and I am so shocked I almost faint. I see the words MADGE written across the paper. "Madge? It's you?" she nods her head in approval. "I can't believe it. Who did this to you?" I know the answer before she even answers. "Oh. Of course. Snow." she looks at me wide eyed and tears fill her eyes. "I nee- wather" she pronounced. "Guys! I need a REALLY large cup of water over here!" I shouted. I didn't want her to disappear now. Someone handed me the water, and Madge yanked it from my hands. She started gulping it down, lungfuls of water at a time.
"That's better. So where's Katniss?" she started to get up, but I forced her down. "You can't get up just now. You're still healing." I said. she slouched down, disappointed.
But I have something to tell her!" She said. "I'm sorry," I replied.
Madge looked at me with angst in her eyes, which suddenly became anger.
"Give her to me right now!" She screams. "NOW!" She leaps towards me, and tries to grab my wrist. I dodge it, and run away. "GIVE ME KATNISS!" The doctors started crowding around her, but something terrifying happened. Madge ripped through her velcro straps holding her down, and lunged pass the doctors toward me. "Okie Dokie," she said as she tackled me down. "Bye-bye!" And then then everything went black.
