"It is time," said Charlotte from the open door, "all is ready for you."

Tessa looked at the mirror once more, the face of her aunt looked back at her, she was smiling and she looked good – it was a memory of her from before she had gotten sick - "Oh, my dear Tessa," she said, "I am so proud of you."

The memory of her disappeared as a tear ran down her cheek and Tessa could see herself, a tear was running down her cheek as well not a tear of sorrow, but a tear a pure happiness and excitement.

She looked at herself herself, her hair was polled up with blue pearl pins by Sophie just a few minutes ago, she was wearing a beautiful white dress – the kind she always dreamed to wear as she was a child – and on her neck she was wearing her clockwork angel and Jam's ring – their symbol of love.

Tessa whipped the tear of her cheek and went to Charlotte, and hand by hand they walked through the church rooms until they got to Henry who was standing in front of big wooden door – waiting for Tessa.

"Thank you for taking me," said Tessa as they reached him.

"My pleasure," he answered and took her hand, she looked up at him and saw something weird flicker in his eye – she ignored it.

Charlotte hugged her, "You look so lovely," she said, kissed her on the forehead and went into the room.

Music started playing as Tessa and Henry walked down the aisle, but Tessa didn't notice it, neither did she notice the people standing up, looking at her, she could only notice Jam standing in front of her – all she wanted was to be next to him already.

"Don't worry," whispered Henry in her ear as they came to a halt, just before the two steppes she will have to go up alone to get to Jam "it will all be right."

She smiled back to him, "why shouldn't it be?"

He gave her a kiss on the forehead too, and she went up the two steps in front of her and stood in front of her husband to be.

Tessa was lost in her thoughts as if she was dreaming, she felt a bit dizzy and she did not notice the ceremony at all until the priest asked her "and do you Tessa Gray…" she looked at the priest and back then at Jam, but as she did she noticed something weird, no one was standing behind him – but were was Will? She asked herself.

"I do" she heard herself say and as she did it all came clear in her mind, Will wasn't there the whole ceremony, and why was she having a mundane wedding while she and Jam weren't Mundane's at all?

As if she just broke a spell she could see it wasn't Jam standing in front of her, it was Mortmain bending to kiss her, she tried to back away, fight, but it was too late, he kissed her.

And she had power on her body no more.
