What are the characters thinking?

The characters point of view of the events from the books. Takes place years after the events. also, in later chapters, the missing moments of simabelle and clace relationships.

What were they thinking?

Cpov

The Seelie Court.

Ugh. Clary couldn't even bring back the awful memories of Simon's face as she saw Jace's tawny eyes. She couldn't think about that dreadful day when Simon's already broken heart was shattered into millions of irretrievable pieces when she kissed him. She promised that she wouldn't.

To tell the truth, she didn't even remember a lot of it. She remembered seeing the shocked faces of everyone, and the oohs and ahhs from the Queen's Court. But most of all, she remembers Simon's saddened face.

So now she sits alone in her and Jace's bedroom 6 years later. She has her sketchbook in her hands and sees Simon's face looking back at her. She now thinks of how Simon is as happy as can be with Isabelle, and couldn't be happier for him.

"You deserved better than me" she mutters as she begins to let her mind wander back to her childhood memories…
