Hera's POV

I watched her walk down the streets in her too small skinny jeans and her torn shirt. Two boys followed her at toe, younger than her but not by much wearing the same clothing. They were homeless –parents died a long time ago– and hungry. I couldn't help but feel sorry for them. Me –the queen of heavens feeling –sorry for a couple of kids –even though they're demi-god.

They were all adopted by a lovely couple; two demi-gods that past away from fighting for their lives. I told their parents that they were demi-gods and they wanted to keep them safe. I was proud of the two demi-gods for taking the kids in. They had their own family, and I love my family.

"Who are they?" Zeus –my husband asked. "Where are their parents?"

"They are homeless, Zeus," I said not looking away from them. One of the boys' had just stolen a loaf of bread and they ran. "Son of Hermes;" I knew as I saw him steal the whole wheat bread. They ate in fear, the girl taking as little as she could so that the boys could have more. "Their parents died while fighting a monster. Ever since, they have been living life rats."

"What to help them?" I looked over to see if it was actually Zeus. This was quite strange of him to suggest helping out with anything. "They deserve to have some love and maybe we can bring them to camp Half-Blood."

"Should we tell anyone?" Anyone meaning the other gods.

"Nah. Keep it our own little secret. Where are they?"

"Manhattan. Where demi-gods always are!"

Zeus let out a small chuckle. "We'll go tomorrow. Now, I'm tired and exhausted and don't feel like walking."

"Goodnight, Zeus." He put on a small wry smile. And so did I. We did get along –tried, actually. Most of the time it worked but sometimes Zeus would be sleeping on the couch while I get the bed. I love life.
