Oh My Hero
"This is it! I'll finally be able to watch a scary movie with _ and not be the one clinging onto her!" Good thing I watched it 162 times.
Alfred finally arrived at your house. You opened the door and saw him standing there with a big grin plastered on his face, and a bouquet of Easter Lilies, your favorite.
You glared at him, "You've been gone for an entire month without texting, calling visiting or anything! So wipe off that dirty grin of yours if your plan is to dump me! Because if that's what you're going to do, I'm going to chop off your balls and I'm going to make it into sushi then feed it to you! Do you understand me! I've been worried sick about you, and I've been a good girlfriend by not calling like every five minutes. But I hope you did get your five messages. Ugh, maybe I don't care! Either way, I don't-, Mph!" Alfred kissed you; he loved it when you were angry, because you're so adorable.
After a good minute of Alfred passionately kissing you, you took a deep breath and considered what this could mean. You looked at the flowers, then thought about the kiss and the length of time he's been gone. Then you took a deep breath and said, "Alright Alfred, which is it? Did you go out with someone else and feel that you had to apologize by making it up to me, or were you thinking that you might be getting lucky tonight?"
He shrugged, "That last part wouldn't be bad, but I've been planning this date for the entire month."
You paled, "Oh gawd, Alfred I care about you, I do, but I don't think I'm ready to be married."
He turned bright red and said, "No, no, no it's not that. I mean not that it might not ever happen but no uh…I've just been planning this date, and you'll just have to trust me."
You nodded, "Alright, well…what are we doing then?" You asked as you ushered him in and placed the beautiful lilies in a vase.
He grinned and pulled out a scary movie, you tried not to act like you were terrified, but you had seen this movie before and that had traumatized you since you were 13.
"You really want to watch that movie?" You asked knowing he'd be asking you to protect him.
He nodded, "Absolutely, because I'll be your hero tonight!"
That's what he said last time. You thought.
"Right well, pop it in then. Now do you want hot cocoa or soda, and chips or popcorn?"
"Um…how about hot cocoa and popcorn this time babe?"
You nodded, "You got it AL."
While you grabbed the refreshments he put in the movie. You set down the refreshments and cuddled up next to him. You watched as the little girl crawled across the room in her creepy fashion and you were stark white with fear clutching onto Al as if you didn't the girl would tear you off of him. You suddenly started whimpering and crying unable to watch anymore. He smiled as he pulled you onto his lap and held you close. "Don't worry I'll protect you." He whispered into your ear.
You then whispered back, "Can we just turn off the movie and go do something different?"
"Like what?" He asked as he muted the movie.
"That idea we had before doesn't sound too bad right now."
He grinned, "Well then, off to the bedroom we go."
"Tell me Alfred, was this really part of your plan or not?"
"What me trying to get in your pants tonight? No, that wasn't part of my plan. That is our plan."
You grinned as you let him carry you bridal style up the stairs. Maybe one day, the ring would come.
