Everybody knows my name: Rumplestiltskin. I am the most feared person in all the realm. You probably hate me already, Dearies, because you know my story –I'm a baby stealer. Here's the thing: I'm not. I make deals for them; let's call it trading. That doesn't sound much better, though, not really. I'm also famous for spinning straw into gold. I love gold. It shows how much power I have. That's how I make most of my money. I went from being a poor peasant to the wealthiest man with magic, but not without a price. I lost my son to my dark side. That's how I got my saying: all magic comes with a price. Let's just say that Baelfire fell through a magic bean portal to the Land Without Magic. That's why I wanted the curse enacted, so it would bring me to his world. In order for that to happen, one must kill the thing they love most. I had lost him, but I still had my one true love out there. Her name is Belle. I couldn't kill her, so I pushed her away and thought she had killed herself, leaving me without a way to set the curse in motion. I bargained with Regina –you probably know her as the Evil Queen– and she ended up with it. Needless to say, I'm in your world now. I've been told I'm a manipulative donkey, to put it nicely. It's not my fault people won't read the fine print. All of the things I've done thus far have been to be reunited with my son. If you ask me if I regret anything… I'm going to tell you a secret. I wish I could take it all back. If you tell even a soul, I swear I will kill you and anyone you have told. I have a reputation to maintain, Darie. I haven't found Bae yet. The curse has been broken by Snow White and Prince Charming's daughter and I brought magic to this world. I did, however, greatly enjoy annoying the crap out of Regina while I was at it. She truly can't stand Miss Swan. Once she finds my son for me and my power is once again restored, I think I can finally be happy. I only have one thing to ask you: would you like to make a deal?
