Winter snow falling
She can see it through the window
Remembering things from long ago
As she sees the white flakes
She's taller now—but still short
She's more mature now—but still looks like a child
She has changed very little—but those changes were for the better
There's one big thing that changed in her life
The person next to her—his smile bright
He's holding her hand—her cold to his warm
She leans on his shoulder
He pretends to look at the scene in the window
But instead looks at the person beside him
He remembers the days when dreams were still dreams
Unsure if he misses, them, he turns to her
He decides he likes the present more
He's taller now—taller than her father
He's more mature now—gotten past his doubt
There's one big thing that changed in his life
The person next to him—her smile bright
She's holding his hand—his cold to her warm
He kisses her on the cheek
"I love you Rima."
"I know you do."
That was...not my best. But it's sort of related to Christmas. 11:46 PM, so I'm not late. ^^
Merry merry Christmas!
