"I can't imagine what you mean, Potter" Severus Snape growled at the Gryffindor pinning him to a wall.
"I'm sure, Snivellus, You stay away from my girl, far, far away" James Potter threatened sounding not the least bit humorous
Severus could feel the presence of the other three of James' posse watching, their eyes burning into the back of James' head no doubt, silently routing. "I'm afraid you must be confused" he smirked cockily "Last I recall Ms. Evans was storming away with me, after you disrespected her"
He could easily see Remus Lupin cringing in the corner of his eye. He didn't allow his eyes to leave James' though, the rage in his eyes was quite evident
"you just stay away from her"
"if you really want something like that, then I suggest you tell Lily not to come near me, because she is the one seeking me out, despite the fact that I've been quite a horrible person to you and you seriously dislike me"
James dropped Severus "you'll see Snivellus, you'll be crying in your sleep if you don't keep away from her, she is my girl"
Severus was going to say something back, but he noticed the pleading look in Remus' eyes asking him for once not to pick a fight. "good-bye Potter" he said calmly as the group walked off.
For a moment there was despair, what if James was going to hurt his reputation? I mean, not like he cared, he just wished he could bring his name into good light, But as long as Luscious Malfoy and the Black sisters would hang around him at the dinner table, he was in no luck to be brought into a comfort zone with anyone other then himself.
