Sitting in our old bed in the hidden away cottage, I nuzzled his pillows, inhaling his scent, ever wishing that I could see him again, just once. I sniffled, tears growing in my eyes as I remembered his smell, his voice and his touch. I let my fingers drift down to the small bump that was now home for where our child grew, before he or she would come out into the world.
"Oh Barty…" I sighed sadly, gripping his pillow even tighter than before. I wiped the tears away, trying to remain strong for both myself and the child.
"Who so sad, goddess?" I sat up in shock, staring at the doorframe in disbelief. It couldn't be…
"B-Barty? Is that really you? I'm not hallucinating, am I?" He chuckled softly and crawled on top of me, his eyes greedily taking me in.
"My, goddess- how I've missed you." He groaned, kissing me eagerly, repeatedly. I moaned into his mouth, holding him tight. I never wanted to let him go, ever again. He slid his hand down my body, pulling back as if burnt when he felt the baby bump.
"You're…pregnant?" I cupped his cheek as I bit my lip, nodding and smiling. He stroked it, his eyes wide with wonder and excitement.
"I'm going to be a father?" I nodded again, laughing happily for the first time in three and a half months. He pulled me on top of him, kissing me passionately.
"Barty…" I murmured softly, nuzzling his neck.
"My Master's gone…defeated by Potter. Which means, no more dictatorship. Be my wife?" He asked, sliding my shirt up and off. I kissed him hungrily and dueled with his tongue.
"Celebration is in order, I believe." He growled huskily. I moaned in agreement and quickly undressed him, and he I.
"Goddess, fuck. I need to be with you, in you. You have no idea how long I've looked for you, how long I've stayed up on restless nights, remembering you." I threw my arms around his neck and nipped at his jaw.
"I do, because all I've got are memories." He grabbed my hands, entwining our fingers together and smiled.
"All you had were memories. Now, let's make some new ones."
