Gibbs: Ziva, look, I'm retired! I'm three thousand miles away. What do you think I can do that they can't do?
Ziva: Honestly, I don't know. I was . . ah . . hoping . . . maybe . . . save me? (rubs finger across her nose, sniffs, tears trickling down her face)

She sat vulnerable in his basement, sat underneath his boat, tears flowing freely down her face, and hoping that man she loved would save her, would help her, "Please Jethro?" she begged him

Gibbs sighed, "Zee, I'm on my way, where is Sarah?" he asked referring to their child, she had his child back when she was the mere age of 18 in Israel, Jethro had been there on duty, and they had fallen in love, but since meeting up again at NCIS, neither one of them had the guts to say the words 'I love you' to the other, and 1o year old Sarah was normally with her mother at NCIS, meeting her father had been simply by accident, because Sarah had hidden under his desk when Tony came in to the bullpen.

Ziva smiled, "Sarah is asleep with me Jethro, I couldn't leave her Jethro" she said softly, the child's curly brunette curls lay in the older Israeli's lap, and Ziva's hand rested softly on the child's shoulder, pulling up the blanket to cover her child gently

Jethro nodded, "Are you both okay Zee?" he asked worriedly as he began to make his way to the airport, after having Mike sort flights out whilst they were talking on the phone

The dark haired woman smiled faintly through tears, "We are fine for now...We need you Jethro" she said softly, sounding more vulnerable than ever

Gibbs nodded, "I'm on my way to the airport now, Where are you?" he asked softly, wanting to be with the woman he loved and their daughter

Ziva leant heavily against the frame of the boat, with her child in her arms sleeping peacefully, "In your basement" she said softly, "It felt like the safest place" she admitted, because it always felt like he was there with her, and their daughter liked it down there.

Jethro smiled, "Stay there, lock the door, and window, don't go upstairs, just stay where you are Zee, I'm coming for you okay?"

Ziva smiled and nodded even though she knew he could not see her, "How long will you be Jethro?" she asked softly

Gibbs sighed, wishing he could be mere seconds, "Mike pulled in favors, I'll be going out on a black flight, so I will be quite a bit quicker than normal, but still maybe a few hours, I will keep talking to you for as long as I can Zee, I love you" he accidently let slip

Ziva or Zeevah as Gibbs called her, smiled happily and lay her child down on all the pillows and blankets she had got from upstairs, already having locked the door and put things against it to stop anyone coming in, she had also done the same with the small window in the basement, and put sheets over the boat like a tent, she lay down beside her daughter, as she whispered to the silver haired man, "I love you too Jethro"

He smiled happily, "Really?" he asked nervously and gently as he jumped from the car and practically ran to the plane

Ziva smiled, "I never stopped loving you Jethro, and I never will stop" she said with a loving smile

Jethro smiled, "Same here Zee, I have to turn off my phone, but I will be with you in a few hours, hold in there okay?" he said softly to her, "And give our princess a hug and a kiss from me, my love" he said softly

Ziva smiled, "I will do, I'll see you soon" she said softly, "I love you" she repeated to him

Gibbs smiled, saying it back before he turned off his phone, a few hours later he would arrive back in DC, with his soon-to-be-fiancee and his beautiful daughter, everything would be okay, as long as they had each other, and the fact he managed to get them both to Mike's house helped to, for they would only have to concentrate on one thing; family.
