"ALEXANDRA, PONYBOY! WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN?" Darry boomed
Well before i get to ahead of myself let me explain my situation here. Well first of all name is Alexandra Esme Curtis I am 15 years old. I am older than Pony and younger than Soda. Well Darry was yelling at me because i was with Ponyboy and my boyfriend Johnny Cade at the lot until we fell asleep. When we woke up me and pony ran home to find a very very angry Darry.
"We fell asleep in the lot." I explained.
"You two never use your heads! If i called the cops you two would be out of here so fast is would make your heads spin." He shouted. Then he did something Darry would never do he slapped me across the face. It hurt like hell. Tears were in my eyes and i grabbed Pony's hand and dragged him out the door. I could faintly hear Darry call out that he didn't mean too. But he knew exactly what he was doing. We ran back to the lot with Johnny.
"Come on Johnny we're running away!" I said
After getting tired of running we stopped at the park.
"He hit me Johnny, Darry hit me!" I said
"Oh god I'm so sorry Alex. You don't deserve it. He was probably just mad." He said reassuring me.
"He wasn't mad he went straight to pissed off!" I noticed that there was a car that kept going around the park. When it finally came close it was too late to run.
