It was just a normal day at Camp Half-Blood, which is very unusual. Normally, there are monsters waiting outside of the camp grounds for us to come out to attack. But, today, they were all gone. Do you want to know why? Today was the day that Aphrodite's love magic was at work, and she would never have monsters ruining her perfect day. On whom is her magic directed at, you may ask? Percy Jackson. You see, Aphrodite was tired of the same old thing every day: Annabeth and Percy staring at each other, constantly worried about if the other liked them. Boring, right? Well, Aphrodite had decided to make it a whole lot more interesting. The course of true love never did run smooth, as Shakespeare so wisely put it. She was just making it bumpier. I know what you're thinking: isn't Aphrodite supposed to help with the love problem, not cause more? Yes, that's normally how it goes, but since there's so much tension in the air, what with the war happening, Aphrodite (also known as Cupid) just wanted to have some fun. This was not completely her idea, though. Some unidentifiable girl showed up in Aphrodite's palace and bribed her to do this! Not that Aphrodite needed bribing, she wanted to do this anyways... (Just don't tell that girl!) You're probably very impatient for me to get on with the story, because you're captivated by your curiosity. But, don't you remember the saying, "curiosity killed the cat"? You may believe that it wouldn't be dangerous to read this story, but just remember: You're reading the confidential mission on said Aphrodite, so you'd better beware, because Aphrodite loves her privacy (except with men, obviously...). You may just find an arrow in your butt tomorrow! If you still don't believe me, don't say I didn't warn you. So, read on if you dare, but just remember: BEWARE!
