I do not own Final Fantasy 7 or any of the characters
Vincent never fully understood the concept of their relationship. It was like sailing on the high seas, one day it could be perfect, the next, hell on earth. But suprisingly, he enjoyed every minute of it.
Everyone called her a spoiled brat. They said she was annoying and was a waste of space. They asked her why she chose to bother them instead of being pampered in her home country. They treated her like dirt.
He understood her though. He understood what it was like to watch your life shatter into millions of pieces. He knew what it was like to be forced to be something you aren't. He knew what it was like to live in a world where everyone shunned you. He knew what it was like to watch the ones you love die right in front of you.
Understanding was the reason he was in love with her.
And understanding was the reason he would never tell her.
