Pure Bell
CLANG! The sound of two swords clashing together rang through the room. Gina, a small girl with short white hair and red eyes, faced her father and creator, Karayan Dalach, a taller man with raven-colored hair and amber eyes. Little Gina flew into a wall with a pathetic thud. She slid to the ground, breathing heavily and bleeding severely. Karayan stood over her with contempt in his eyes.
"How pitiful, girl. I'm not even using shikai. And you don't even know your zampakuto's name. I should have destroyed you when I had the chance."
He spat at her feet and knocked her unconscious with the hilt of his blade before spinning on his heel and walking out of the empty lab that he had been training her in. He locked the door behind him. He didn't care about her injuries in the slightest.
Gina herself merely bled on the cold cement floor and dreamed...
Inside of Gina's 'Dream'
Gina slowly woke in a strange world. There were many trees and plants, as it seemed to be a forest. There weren't any animals there, however. There was merely one tall woman.
The woman wore a white halter dress that went down to her knees along with sleeves of the same color that seemed like they could have been from an ancient Japanese priestess. She had long violet hair that went to her waist and narrowed violet eyes. She was standing over Gina calmly.
"Finally," she sighed. "I thought that I might never meet you..."
Gina instinctively backed away and against a tree.
"W-Who are you?!" she stuttered warily.
The woman frowned.
"No need to fear me. I am your zampakuto spirit. Merely knowing my name can increase your power immensely. And I can fight alongside you... I've been waiting for so long...," she trailed off.
"...U-Um... E-Er... I-I'm Gina..."
"I know that. My name is Junsei Suzu. It means 'Pure Bell'. Do well to remember it," Junsei Suzu said with a smile.
"Y-Yes, ma'am..."
Junsei Suzu sighed. Her tone became colder and more unforgiving.
"You must stand, Gina. Stand and fight. I'll teach you things as we go along, but for now, you must please your creator. Now go."
Gina was taken aback for a moment before all went black.
End of Dream
When Gina came to, back in the laboratory, she sighed.
'I have a long way to go...'
