Ed and Joe came in sniffling, coughing and whining.
"Fontana, Green in here," Anita ordered.
Looking at each other, they wondered how they'd screwed up now.
"Yes ma'am," Joe said, closing the door.
"Take a seat gentlemen," she said, as she opened a grocery bag.
She removed items, slapping them into their hands like a surgical nurse handing instruments to a surgeon.
"Thermos of chicken soup, vitamin C, echinacea, zinc lozenges, Kleenex with lotion, hand sanitizer, water bottles – you know, if you had wives, I wouldn't have to do this. Now shoo."
"She enjoyed that!" Fontana surmised.
"Yep, she really misses her sons."
