'Arrival'

MPP #68 – At Journey's End

Alanna thought the city of Corus had never looked more beautiful. She loved the crowning jewel of the palace on the hill, the scenic backdrop of the Royal Forest and, best of all, the sturdy roads.

The sweet, sturdy, solid roads that didn't rollick and pitch under her feet.

After the long boat trip from Rajmuat to Port Caynn, she was looking forward to a nice long bath and then an equally long nap. In the mean time, she relished being able to walk on solid ground again. The ride from Port Caynn to Corus, though infinitely preferably to a boat ride up the river, still involved too much swaying for Alanna's unsettled stomach.
