Number 6.

He was in that repulsive place again, still not clearly understanding why.

All he knew was that he had to save his saviour.

Nezumi spotted the brown haired boy walk down the street with a petite girl, both smiling and engaged in the conversation. Nezumi watched quietly, wondering what their relationship was, not missing the adoration reflected in the girl's eyes.

"I want your sperm"

The girl said boldly to the brown haired boy. Nezumi's eyes widened with surprise, and he let out a small chuckle.

Shion's the most innocent bastard alive... he probably has no idea what you're talking about.

Nezumi watched Shion's reaction amusingly, as the boy panicked and cautiously answered that they would do it, just not now, maybe "about 2 years later".

The girl twirled her hair with her fingers slightly, gazing at Shion and trying to confirm with him if it was a definite promise.

Nezumi decided that it was the right time to interrupt.

The mouse scurried down the road, climbing up Shion's clothes and landing on his shoulder. Nezumi wondered if Shion would recognize the symbolism after all these years; realize that it was a message from him. To Nezumi's content, Shion's eyes immediately sparkled with recognition, and he immediately started running after the now speeding mouse. The girl stood immobilized, confusion, disappointment and slight rejection in her eyes.

Shion ran faster and faster, trying to keep up with the mouse. Nezumi smiled slightly, relived that he still existed in the boy's memories.

Nezumi badly wanted to reveal himself to the boy again; he wanted to feel the warm human touch of Shion's hand.

He'd already had to wait 4 years.

Not being able to hold back any longer, Nezumi landed in front of Shion. The brown haired boy gasped with surprise.

Nezumi knew that he couldn't stay long.

Running up to Shion, Nezumi gently pressed his lips onto his.

It was a small, innocent touch, a gesture to let each other know that both were breathing, warm, and alive. Pulling away, they gazed at each other's eyes. Shion stood paralyzed, unsure of what to do.

"Something's about to change,"

Nezumi whispered, bringing his lips close to Shion's ear, careful of not being overheard.

"Nezumi..."

Shion whispered uncertainly, completely overwhelmed.

"We'll see each other soon"

Nezumi replied with certainty, and he pulled away. With a last glance, Nezumi disappeared into the surrounding forest.

Shion touched his lips gently, and sighed thankfully.

He's still alive.
