I lost all inspiration for my other story sadly. I haven't been able to write ever since my cousin is in the hospital for a motorcycle accident. He may never wake up and it pains me because he was the only cousin who I would talk to everyday. But I have hope he will wake up soon
Well enough about my problem, this is a new story. I just love Graceland! Especially Aaron Tveit. Sad when he dies in Les Miserables, great voice though. Ok enough here it is. I hope you guys like it. It's a One Shot because I want to see how it goes first. Takes place during "Smoke Alarm."
Hurts like Hell
First thing I felt was a burning sensation and inconsiderate amount of pain that just made me want to pass out, but I had to hold on for a bit until back up came…..I wonder why they haven't showed up already when first called them…the man; Jangles…, huh it's kind of a funny name actually now that I think about it…no! Stop it, concentrate here. I see him looming over me, probably to stab me again and finish me of. Where the hell is the back-up damn it! I must have dozed off a bit cause next thing I hear is a gun-shot and Jangles running off. Finally back-up has arrived, well better late than never I guess. Briggs is here, wait. Briggs? He's saying something I manage to catch "did I get him?" I tell him weakly, "I think so. Go on, find him. Go." He responds back saying, "Next time, Mikey, Next time." And grabbed some cloths and presses them down on my wound. All I saw on the edges of my eyes was darkness but I kept fighting to hold on just a bit more. At that moment I was glad I told Juan I didn't want to investigate Briggs anymore because I knew how much he wanted to get Jangles for what he had done to him. I trust this man with my life. I see two men come in, oh back-up, this time for real. Finally! One kneels over me while Briggs goes off to search for Jangles. I manage to turn my head just a bit to see men walk out with Bello on custody; I don't want him to know I was undercover just yet so I tell the FBI agent, "Hey. Hey, read me my rights!" He turns with a confused expression and says, "What?" I don't want Bello to hear as he's getting closer so painfully I whisper, "Read me my rights!" He starts saying my Miranda rights but by then the pains to much and I can't even hear what he's saying so I welcome the darkness knowing everything is all well now that Bello has been arrested and will no longer be a problem out in the streets. Now we can concentrate on Odin and Jangles. Hopefully Juan won't cause any trouble and Briggs career will be safe.
